- every picture is automatically resized and converted to 256 shades
of gray
- there are five resize methods: nearest neigbor, linear, spline,
Lanczos and Mitchell
- if you think that a picture is looking "funny", you
can invert it
- "full edge resampling" eliminates some strange artefacts
along the edges,
making the picture slightly smoother

if you're not satisfied with how the terrain looks,
you can fine tune the "altitude" of each of its elements
(mountains, downs and forests),
effectively changing the terrain's geological appearance
